| Bio: | Hi. My name is Kate. I am a reasonably attractive (or so I'm often told by guys who want to get into my knickers) 23 year old girl. I have blue eyes (feck) and long dark brown hair (feck again). I am approximately 5ft6, and of slim build (size 10-12). This short, yet informative visual description means if I don't blog for over a month, you will be able to give a detailed description of me when you report me as a missing person, cus damned if my friends or family'd ever notice I was missing. I did the whole education thing, getting a degree in Journalism & Editorial design which is interesting but fairly useless because most jobs in journalism are in London and I don't want to move. I spent a while working at a place that sold horsewear but the boss and his sidekick turned out to be the devil and the devil's best bud. Pretty soon the bad outweighted the perks of getting all my tack etc at rock bottom prices. I am currently temping at a lovely place in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter and am enjoying it so far. I'm pretty shy, highly suspicious, and EXTREMELY sarcastic. My sense of humour is more dark and sarky, than witty and amusing so most people tend not to get me. Not that they ever have. I own three horses - Diamond, Grace and Faith. Diamond I have had for eight years. He can jump the moon but was hit by a lorry so now may never reach his full potential - we are in the process of suing. Grace was bought in September through my trainer Camille. She was imported especially from Holland and is the most beautiful, sweetest horse ever. Everybody who meets her falls in love. She is, however, a little bit of a diva. Faith popped up one day after we noticed her mom, Cricket, getting fat. She is now approaching three and is not quite as well behaved. Most of the time she is angelic but when you're least expecting it she'll catch you unawares. I also own a parrot, Joe - an African Grey who was put in a tiny budgie cage by his first owners and never let out so he now, a) plucks his feathers. b) can never be shut in his cage c) never leaves his cage, so b) isn't really a problem. Finally, I have a hamster, Harace. After the episode where I got really upset about the last two dying, I was banned from keeping a hamster. However, I returned home from work one day to find Horace in situ. My father had bought him for me. He had also named him Horace and, despite my efforts to find a better name, Horace stuck. It actually really suits him. He is a very cool, laidback type of hamster, very friendly and has the habit of lying on his balcony like a dog (on his haunches, front paws on in front of him and chin on his paws) when he's tired. I love him dearly. If I could take him to bed with me without squishing him, I would. | |||||||
